Josh Baumgartner is a dedicated musician from St. Louis, Missouri, whose love for music was ignited at a young age. One of his earliest and fondest memories is of his great uncles playing guitar and singing around a campfire, an experience that sparked a lifelong passion for music. He began playing music at eight years old, and since then, he has committed himself to honing his craft as a versatile musician.
Under the mentorship of esteemed instructors Dr. Randall Smith and José Zayas-Cabán, Josh developed his technique and work ethic, allowing him to grow as an artist. In 2016, he made the move to St. Louis, where he quickly immersed himself in the local music scene, bringing his friendly and warm demeanor to every performance.
That same year, Josh joined Sweetie and The Toothaches as their tenor saxophonist and arranger, a role that has not only sharpened his skills but also expanded his musical repertoire. Matt McKeever is a versatile musician, educator, and composer based in Saint Louis, Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education from Webster University and completed his Masters in Music Education from the University of Missouri-Saint Louis. As an active performer, Matt currently plays with Sweetie and the Toothaches, The Arcadia Dance Orchestra, Andy Coco's NOLA Funk and Rhythm & Blues Revue, and regularly collaborates with Diamond Empire.
A talented multi-instrumentalist, Matt performs professionally on saxophone, clarinet, and flute. He is recognized for his dynamic contributions to the St. Louis music scene, having previously played in groups such as Night Howler, the Saint Louis Wind Symphony, and Naked Rock Fight. His passion for music extends to composition, with several pieces for concert band and jazz ensemble available for purchase. One of his works, "Adventure Awaits!," has gained recognition, performed in multiple states and featured at the 2018 SIUE Bi-State Band Festival.

Jay is a dedicated musician and educator from Webster Groves, Missouri. He earned his Bachelor of Music in Music Education, specializing in trumpet, from SIUE in 2000, followed by a Master of Music in Conducting in 2005.
Most recently, Jay served as the music director at Ursuline Academy in St. Louis, teaching vocal and instrumental classes, directing school productions, and managing sound for events. He also teaches private lessons in voice, trumpet, and guitar and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Focal Point Traditional Arts Center in St. Louis.
As a trumpet player, Jay performs with the Edwardsville Community Symphony and has a rich history of professional singing, currently with the St. Louis Chamber Chorus, The Wee Heavies, and the St. Margaret of Scotland Parish Choir. He has performed with the St. Louis Symphony Chorus and the Bach Society of St. Louis, and has appeared as a bass soloist with several notable ensembles. Jay’s opera experience includes performances with Union Avenue Opera and the SIUE Opera Theater, as well as international tours to Italy, Austria, Germany, and Scotland.
Beyond music, Jay collects and sometimes builds instruments, exploring traditional music from cultures around the world—especially Irish, Scottish, and American folk music—while arranging for The Wee Heavies.
